When you're on offense and you have a jack, try to Target opposing cards of the same suit as your jack first. This way you know you are not at risk of being jack- countered yourself. +Raiding can be as effective as attacks even when in a dominant position, it's important to remember to keep a few cards on your backline just in case. Remember: “raids” come through based on the cards on your backline, not your Frontline. . if your opponent is leaving their backline undefended, sometimes it is better to use multiple attackers on your frontline to optimize deck damage. This becomes especially true towards the end of games when your opponent is short on cards. But be careful, they can strike back in an instant, so timing here is key. + Protect powerful cards + Power is more than size + A trade is better than a loss When on defense, it's important to conserve all your best cards and potentially useful combinations, only allowing your least useful cards to be thrown out as defenders just because you have a card in hand with a bigger face value, doesn't necessarily mean it is more “useful” or “powerful” for you. Ex: an 8 that your opponent already has the 9 and 10 suit for may have less potential than a 7 where the 10 and 9 is still out for draw. this one is sometimes hard to see, but when you have a card or combo that may be able to match your opponent's dominant frontline card(s), sometimes it is better to fight the opposing card and lose yours in the process than to let them have sustained battlefield control. Naturally, there is a temptation to hold on to "strong" cards and draw to cards that could potentially pair with them. But, when trying to create powerful combinations, the odds of drawing a certain combination of cards should be considered just important as the strength of those. toward the end of games when your deck is low, it's important to manage the arrangement of your cards on your battlefield. If you end up incurring overages or raids to your deck, and it runs out of cards, then the resulting losses will target your hand, backline and Frontline (in order) starting with the cards closest to your deck. So it's ideal to have your best cards furthest from your deck (on both lines) to avoid suffering those losses. since attacking ends your turn, it's important to always make all your other moves first before attacking. Attack Last similar to attacking, since “peeking” at the discard zone(DZ) will end your turn, it's ideal to make this the last move of your turn as well.
